Jamie, LVTPractice Manager
Jamie began working for our hospitals as a Licensed Veterinary Technician in July of 2010. She graduated from the Alfred State College Veterinary Technician program in 2007. As a practice manager, Jamie is passionate about delivering excellent customer and patient care. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors and reading. She lives in Greece with her husband, daughter and son. They have a Boston Terrier named Zeppelin, a Terrier mix named Lizzy and two cats, Miss Fitz and Foxfire.

Brittany Heagerty, LVTLead Veterinary Technician
Brittany attended Alfred State College in the veterinary technician program and graduated in 2007 with her associates degree. She has been practicing ever since. She has worked almost every role in the veterinary clinic from receptionist to technician to practice manager. She enjoys using the skills she has obtained over the years to bring the best care to her patients and clients each and every day. Brittany's focus is on excellent patient care, behavior, venipuncture and client education. Her interests outside of the clinic include cycling, boating, hiking and spending time around a good bonfire with her husband and two boys. She and her family are from Spencerport. She has 2 dogs named Ruger and Seamus, a cat named Phineas, a handful of chickens and 2 dwarf Nigerian goats.

Katie LiebowLead Assistant
Katie graduated from Spencerport High School in 2011 and received her bachelor’s in Environmental Science in 2015 from Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, PA. After completing an internship in Alaska studying forest composition, she moved back to Spencerport. She began working at our hospitals in October of 2016 as a Veterinary Assistant. In 2022, she transitioned into the role of Lead Veterinary Assistant and began managing the practice inventory. In her free time she enjoys reading, cooking, hiking, and kayaking. She lives in Rochester with her golden retriever, River.

Irene Haines, LVT
Irene graduated from Franklinville High School and Ellicottville BOCES with a focus in Animal Science in 2011, which is where she first discovered her love for Veterinary Medicine. She then attended Genesee Community College and graduated with her Associates in Veterinary Technology in 2016. In 2016 after finishing her school internship with us, she was hired as a veterinary technician. She loves all aspects of being a vet tech but especially loves surgery and venipuncture. Irene is fear free certified. Outside of work she enjoys playing video games, camping and spending time with her family. At home, Irene currently has 2 dogs and 2 cats.

Hannah Yaeger, LVT
Hannah graduated from Hilton High School in 2013. Hannah attended Genesee Community College and graduated with an AAS in Veterinary Technology in 2017. Hannah became licensed that same year in August! She began working at both Apple Country Veterinary Hospital and Erie Canal Animal Hospital as a veterinary assistant in October 2015, and now works as an LVT. Her professional interests include surgery and providing client education. She currently lives in Rochester with her husband, her daughter, her cat named Dora and a Basset Hound named Tiger.

Alexis Bradshaw, LVT
Alexis graduated from Brighton High School. She attended Alfred State College and graduated with an Associate Degree in Veterinary Technology in 2017. Alexis started working at Erie Canal Animal Hospital and Apple Country Veterinary Hospital later that year. Her veterinary interests include working with exotics and learning about animal behavior. Outside of work, she enjoys kayaking, playing softball/volleyball and walking her dog. She has a cat named Sweet Potato and a mixed breed dog named Tyson.

Sarah ten Broeke, LVT
Sarah attended Medaille College of Rochester and graduated with an AAS in Veterinary Technology in 2021. Sarah started at Erie Canal Animal Hospital and Apple Country Veterinary Hospital in the beginning of her veterinary technician education, she joined the team as a veterinary assistant in March of 2019 and knew this was the path she was meant to take! Sarah’s favorite parts of the field include dentistry, surgery, client education, and alternate methods for pain control such as laser therapy. Sarah is Fear Free Certified. Outside of work some of Sarah’s interests include movies, traveling (especially exploring national parks), kayaking, camping, and cooking. Sarah loves cats and at home she has three of her own, Norman Bates, Elvira, and Shipka!

Frances Seifert, LVT
Fran is a Hilton native that graduated from Hilton High School in 2015. After that she ended up at Genesee Community College where she graduated with an AAS in Veterinary Technology. After graduating she began working at Erie Canal Animal Hospital and Apple Country Veterinary Hospital as a full time Licensed Veterinary Technician. At work, Fran enjoys client communication/education, helping out with the hospital's social media and specialized patient care. Aside from working as an LVT, Fran enjoys spending time on the horse farm she also works at. She currently owns a horse named Bubba, a Black Labrador named Frankie and a cat named Nosey!

Maddie Welch, LVT
Maddie graduated from South Seneca High School in 2019. After graduation Maddie attended Alfred State College and graduated in 2021 with an Associate Degree in Applied Science (AAS) in Veterinary Technology. She started at Erie Canal Animal Hospital and Apple Country Veterinary Hospital in the beginning of June 2021. Maddie’s interests are anesthesia/surgery, laboratory diagnostics, and getting to know clients and their pets. Maddie is Fear Free Certified. Outside of work Maddie likes cooking, reading, listening to music, swimming, and spending time with family. She lives in Spencerport with her significant other, Ethan. At home she has two cats named Tribbianni (Tribb) and Tuck.

Tracey Catalfamo, LVT
Tracey graduated from Genesee community college with an associates degree in applied science (AAS) in veterinary technology in 2021. Shortly after graduating she past her VTNE and went into practice. Her professional interests included venipuncture, laboratory diagnostics, and getting to know clients and their pets. Outside of work Tracey enjoys spending time with her horse Dragon and her friends. She also has many other pets such as Guinea pigs, mice, fish, cats, dogs, scorpions, and tarantulas!

Dana Gugliuzza, LVT
Dana was born and raised in Spencerport, where she graduated high school in 2005. She went on to graduate from Medaille College in 2011 with an AAS in Veterinary Technology. The first 12 years of her career was in emergency and specialty, where she focused on anesthesia, and emergency and critical care. She joined the urgent care team at Erie Canal in October of 2023. In her free time she enjoys anything that involves animals, being outdoors, and spending time with her family and friends. She has a dog named Arie, and two cats, Tinkerbell and Jagger.

Michelle Johnson, LVT
Michelle attended Medaille College in Buffalo, NY and graduated in 2014. She obtained her veterinary technician license in 2015 and has been practicing ever since. Michelle enjoys getting to know every patient as well as their families. Her professional interests include dentistry, anesthesia and feline medicine. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her family. She currently lives in Spencerport with her husband Mike, son Joey, 2 cats Moe and Rollene and 2 dogs Cassie and Bailey.

Maya RutlandVeterinary Assistant
Maya graduated from Roberts Wesleyan College in 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in history. After college, she went on to play professional soccer in Ireland. In the fall of 2022, she came back to the United States and began work as a veterinary assistant here at ECAH and ACVH. Maya’s future plans include attending school to become a veterinary technician after playing soccer. Her interest outside of work include soccer, horseback riding, traveling and spending time with family. Maya currently owns two horses named Oliver and Tilly, a dog named Scooby and two cats Tricky and Chico.

Justine LavertyVeterinary Assistant
Justine graduated from Royalton Hartland CSD in 2022. She is currently attending Roberts Wesleyan where she is majoring in Biology with a pre-veterinary path, she is expected to graduate in 2026. She currently plays division 2 field hockey at Roberts while also focusing on her studies. Justine is a recent addition to both Eire Canal Animal Hospital and Apple Country Veterinary Hospital. With her experience, she aims to attend veterinary school after completing her undergraduate studies. When Justine’s not at the clinic she loves running, traveling, snowboarding, and taking care of her plants.

Katie KennedyReceptionist
Katie started working at Apple Country as a Veterinary Assistant in 2012. She graduated from Hilton High School in 2015. Outside of work, Katie and her husband Nick enjoy spending time in the Adirondacks, completing home improvement projects, and keeping up with their 3 German Shorthaired Pointers- Clyde, Magnolia, and Roy.

Jennifer DalykasReceptionist
Jennifer began working at our hospital as a part time receptionist in October of 2019. Her interests include dog training, fishing, hiking, traveling, and going to casinos. In her free time, she does scent/nose work training with her 5-year-old Black Lab Liberty and 1-year-old Husky mix Luna. She enjoys spending time with her grandson exploring parks, zoos, and aquariums. Jennifer lives in Rochester with her husband and four dogs Layla, Logan, Liberty, Luna and two cats Cinders and Ashes! One of her long-term goals is to open her own dog training/boarding facility with focus on training and rehabbing shelter dogs to help find forever homes for them.

Courtnee ArmendingerReceptionist
Courtnee graduated from Monroe Community College with an Associate Degree in Commercial Art and Illustration in 2015. She has always had a love for animals, she starting working at a doggy day care shortly after graduation and then eventually worked as a receptionist at an emergency veterinary hospital. She started working at Erie Canal Animal Hospital in 2024. Outside of work Courtnee enjoys creating art, traveling, spending time with her family and her animals.
